Weekly Update - July 6

Quote of the Week

“Understand two thoughts, and fear them. One says, 'You are a saint,' the other, 'You won’t be saved.' Both of these thoughts are from the enemy, and there is no truth in them. But think this way: I am a great sinner, but the Lord is merciful. He loves people very much, and He will forgive my sins.“

— St. Silouan the Athonite (+1938)

Apostles' Fast

We continue the Apostles' Fast until the feast on 12 July. During this fast seafood is permitted, except on Wednesdays and Fridays when we follow a stricter fast. Please be reminded that if you are not observing the fast you may not partake of Holy Communion. Please communicate with Fr. Pimen if there are circumstances that are preventing you from fasting.
