Apostles' Fast
We continue the Apostles' Fast until the feast on 12 July. During this fast seafood is permitted, except on Wednesdays and Fridays when we follow a stricter fast. Please be reminded that if you are not observing the fast you may not partake of Holy Communion. Please communicate with Fr. Pimen if there are circumstances that are preventing you from fasting.

Service Trip to Feeding America
We will have a service trip to Feeding America on 29 July. This can include children from ages 6 and up with a parent or other chaperone. For more information please contact Myrian Awadallah.
Families Forward Backpack Program
Holy Cross will participate in the Backpack program to help underprivileged families gather school supplies for children of families with mental problems. A list of supplies needed is on the bulletin board in the social hall. For more information please contact Myrian Awadallah.
FOCUS Meals for the Homeless
This Wednesday, 1 July, teenage and young adult Orthodox Christians from all the Orthodox Churches in San Diego will be providing meals for the homeless at God's Extended Hand. For more information regarding this service please click here.

Holy Cross Summer Club
Summer club for the children of the parish has begun! It will continue to meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. throughout the summer. For more details click here.
Summer Cooperative
Holy Cross announces the first year of its summer cooperative for elementary school children, grades 1-3. The main goal of this service is to get parents involved. This is not a drop-off summer camp; parents run the cooperative and they set the rules and activities. The group will meet every Thursday of the summer. For more details, please click here.
St. Photini Girls Group
