APOSTLES' FAST

The Apostles' Fast has begun and will continue until 12 July when we celebrate the feast. Everyone is advised to seek spiritual guidance regarding how to fast. Please note that you if you have not been given a blessing to not fast, you may not receive Holy Communion. When our Holy Mother the Church gives us fasting as a medicine for our souls and we refuse to take the medicine we are cutting ourselves off from her, thus voluntarily excommunicating ourselves.

SUMMER CLUB

Summer Club has begun! The children of the parish will be gathering at church every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. for prayer, food, play, and studying for the Mahragan al-Keraza and YSC events in late summer.

ST. ATHANASIUS CATECHETICAL SCHOOL

Our final lecture on the Sermon not the Mount will be this Tuesday. 5 July, at 7:00 p.m. The lecture titles is: "Toward a life of righteousness."

FOOD & CLEAN-UP

To sign up to bring food for the agape meal on Sundays please see the bulletin board at church or contact Tasoni Maryann. We need as many volunteers as possible to keep the church clean on Sundays after the Divine Liturgy. Please consider this important expression of stewardship.

May God bless and reward all of you who have so diligently offered food and helped to clean!
