PEACE AND GRACE

Commemoration of the the holy Patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Sep 3 / Mesra 28)

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly [a]mistaken."

UPDATE || LINKDEDIN GROUP FOR SAN DIEGO

We recently updated our LinkedIn group's name to Christan Orthodox Professional Talent Network of San Diego. The name update is intended to be more inclusive and representative of the group membership. The acronym is a small nod to its base.

Over 30 members have joined so far and we're interested in growing the group further. If you haven't yet, please consider joining and encouraging others to do so. As part of the network, you may be of help to fellow members who are in job transition and could use your insights to navigate their next career steps.

This could be a great service to other members of our community. On the horizon, we hope to establish mentorship between members. For more info about the network, mentoring, or career coaching, please contact Sam Soloman at sam@samsoloman.com.

COVID-19 HARDSHIP

If you or anyone you know is suffering from hardships related to this virus, or any distress at all, please contact Fr. Michael at 949-378-0350 or FrMichaelMaximous@gmail.com.

Additionally, the servants of St. Basil have put together a list of spiritual, financial, educational, and employment resources that you may find helpful during the COVID-19. We hope that it is helpful. You can download the PDF here.
