Care Packages Ready!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this service possible. The High School and Jr. High School classes worked together to prepare 150 care packages to provide to our homeless brothers and sisters this season. It wouldn’t have been possible without the help of so many of St. Basil’s members who provided financial support to purchase the contents or to actually purchase them from the store and bring them assembly! God bless all who participated in this successful event! If you would like to help in distributing them, you can grab a few in the main hall downstairs.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR!

Join us this year for our New Year’s celebration at 6:00 PM December 31st! There will be dinner, choir performance (all ages), and ending 2021 with prayers. Please sign up your child (and yourself!!) for the choir here: tinyurl.com/taa9mdc3

HYMNS LESSONS!

The Coptic Orthodox Church has hundreds of hymns that are beautiful, ancient and powerful in moving the soul!  When sung, not just by deacons, but by every member of the church, they can uplift the spirit and mind to a place where the angels are!  These hymns are rich tradition that we have inherited and now it is our responsivity to provide them to our children.

Please encourage your child to join us online to learn these hymns every Friday at 7:00PM by clicking here

DEC 8 || THE VIRTUES OF THE DESERT FATHERS IN THE LIFE OF ST. MARY

St. Basil will be continuing our annual Nativity Series discussion during the Nativity Fast! This year we will explore the two examples of Christian virtue: Monasticism and our holy mother St. Mary. Join us in the comfort of your home on Zoom at 8:00 PM on Wednesdays (Click Here starting on December 1st) with the amazing guest speakers we have lined up to talk about this great topic!
