Christ Is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE BAPTIZED!
Congratulations to Caleb Betts and Florence Wu for their baptism! Also, congratulations to Collin and Sara for the baptism of their son, Isaac Collin Feduska! God bless your journey with our Lord Jesus Christ and to experience His many excellent graces!
Your shining robe now arouses admiration in the eyes of all who behold you, and the radiance of your garments proves that your souls are free from every blemish. For the future, all of you, both you who have just deserved the gift (of baptism) and all who have already reaped for yourselves the benefit of His great generosity, must make the excellence of your conduct visible to all and, after the fashion of a torch, you must illumine those who look upon you… let us be eager to preserve this beauty in its full bloom and let us learn what can keep it bright. ~ St. John Chrysostom (Baptismal Instructions)
VISIT OF HIS GRACE BISHOP SURIEL!
We want to thank His Grace Bishop Suriel who visited St. Basil’s on Pentecost Sunday and celebrated the divine liturgy and the prostration prayers. He also blessed us with a talk afterwards!
CONGRATULATIONS TO MARIAM WASSEF!
Congratulations to Mariam who received the blessing of the deaconess role by Bishop Soriel! God bless your service for many years to come!
