PEACE AND GRACE
The Feast of the Consecration of the Church of the Honorable Cross (September 28, 2023/ Tout 17, 1739)
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
'“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”
John 10:27-30

Congratulations Melissa and Elias!
Congratulations to Melissa (Mary) Murillo for being anointed into the Coptic Orthodox Church! Also congratulations to Monika and Uzziel Rodes for the baptism of their son Elias (Basil) Rodas! God bless your journey with our Lord Jesus Christ to a deep spiritual life through the guidance of the Holy Spirit!
NEW TIME FOR THE SUNDAY LITURGY!
Starting this Sunday, October 1st, we will be starting the Divine Liturgy at 8:00 am (not 8:30 am). Therefore, we will finish earlier at 11:00 am! This will allow for an additional 30 minutes of hymn instruction for the youth in the church prior to attending Sunday School which will finish at the same time (around 1pm). Be sure your children attend these beneficial sessions!
St. Basil’s Bible Study: Friday Nights (7-8:30pm)
Continuing our review of the profound Old Testament books called “the Minor Prophets”, this week we will discuss the Book of Zephaniah. This small but powerful book is only four chapters long but illustrates God’s love and care for His people.
Refreshments: 7:00pm - 7:30pm
Discussion: 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Also, on Zoom for those who can’t make it to church! Click Here to join at 7:30pm
