Condolences
St. Basil’s Church offers our deepest condolences, with every hope in our Ever-Victorious Lord Jesus Christ, to Wagdy Ibrahim for the passing of his wife, Camelia Ibrahim.
She is the mother of Mr. Ash Ibrahim from St. Basil’s Church - the husband of Jacquie. The grandmother of Nicole, Anthony and Sofia.
Camelia is also the mother of Fr. Kyrillos Ibrahim from St. Paul’sthe husband of Shereen (Nany). The grandmother of Matthew and Karissa.
3rd Day Prayer/Condolences will be held at St. Paul’s on Thursday, 1/18 from 6-9p. Funeral Service to be announced.

Annual St Basil Banquet
A special thank you to all who labored so much to make this year’s banquet a huge success! The night was filled with fellowship while we reviewed where St. Basil’s church has been, current status, and vision for the future. God’s presence can be clearly seen throughout the years in the many challenges overcome and the blessings He continually pours on us. The fundraising aspect of the night was also successful: thank you to all who donated silent auction items and those who purchased tickets. We will see you next year, God willing! :)

PREPARATION FOR BAPTISM (CATECHISM) CLASSES
Join us on ONLINE on Monday nights at 8:00 PM for Baptism preparation classes. Visit www.stbasil.net/baptism for more information. These classes are open for:
Anyone interested in becoming members of the Coptic Orthodox Church,
Those recently baptized (within the last few years), or
Simply anyone else seeking to better understand the basics of the Christian Faith and History.
Together, we will review the importance of baptism and its impact, the Sacraments, the inspiring church history, the Orthodox Creed, the Holy Bible, Orthodox Prayer and Spiritual life, and Church traditions.
