PEACE AND GRACE

The Commemoration of the Miracle at Cana of Galilee (January 22, 2024 / Toba 13, 1740)

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

You have put gladness in my heart,
More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 4:7-8

Lasagna Love - Supporting Local Families!

We will be gathering together after church on 1/26 from 1-4PM to make lasagnas, brownies, and cookies to send to the Rachel's Women's Shelter downtown (https://ccdsd.org/homeless-womens-services/).  There is a sign up sheet for supplies/ingredients and those who are interested in just cooking/baking (no experience required!) here

This opportunity is organized by a group called Lasagna Love that arranges to feed 3-4 different shelters every month, so it's a recurring opportunity for us, if we want to take it on.  We hope that we can support local families in need by making and delivering lasagnas to those in your town and nearby, as many and/or as often as we can.

Please reach out to Erene Hanna (562-619-4595 or erenepasi@gmail.com) or Fr. Michael if you want to get involved or if you have any questions!
