Charity Opportunity!

(Goal Reached!)

We’ve reached our goal of 100 suitcases! God bless all who participated in this drive to help foster children! On May 18th we will be packing the suitcases! More information to follow!

—-

Foster kids face multiple moves from home to home and are given a trash bag to carry their belongings.

  • Case for Character Program aims to give these kids hope and dignity by giving them their own suitcase with a few character-building items

  • We are partnering with the local charity to raise money for a suitcase packing event on May 18, 2025 here at St. Basil’s church!

    • Presentation by “Forever Kids” then packing the suitcases with a toiletries bag, card and spiritual book for delivery to SD foster kids

  • For more information, or if you are interested in helping organize the event, please contact Giselle Sorial (giselle.sorial @gmail.com) or Erene Hanna (erenepasi@gmail.com/562-619-4595)
